Guess which 2 hours of the day had the heaviest rainfall?
BTW, those aren’t pavement seams in the photo, those are waves. Seriously.
Got home and peeled my socks off, shoes are soaked, as are my jeans. Got halfway to work this morning and realized I forgot my big umbrella and rain pants. Oh well.

I had hoped to get to do a test run (not that this would have been fair) and seen how the sloppiness would have affected the car, but when the lead set-up guy didn’t even go through with the club F-250 I knew not to suggest it. I think they typically might do a test run, but this was my first time helping with the setup.
I’m guessing I might have spun out on my race tires with the new rear sway bar. So, yes, skidpad!

F-250 couldn’t go through it? Why, w as it too deep in some sp ots ? A ll I can tell from the pic is that it’s raining hard enough to ripple across the surface like that.
BTW, that’s a pretty slick cone cart.

This club really has it dialed in. We have two of those carts, and a tiny quad to tow them (when it hasn’t been sitting without a start all winter, like . . . today).
No, I think he was just soaked and done for the day, with F-250 runs and course adjustments to be made in the morning.
